He was so excited to be on board of a boat and taking photos of the surroundings which would eventually inspire some of his paintings !
I say to PETER , goodmorning every day...since I have at home the SHEKO GOLF CLUB View from the 6th Tee!!!Painted in 1993 !
I am sure HE is painting now many angels navigating in the Heavens skies !

Hello,
My parents gave me a Sterkenburg painting for my 16th birthday. Although, now I think that was just an excuse for my father to purchase it! My father passed away in 1999, and I now have a family of my own. For years, I felt the need to protect the painting, especially with two young kids in the house, so I sadly hung it in a back room where no one saw it. However, now that my kids are older, I've moved the painting to our entry so that everyone sees it upon entering our home. It's a lovely painting called "Boats at Sunset", and I feel much better now that it is being seen.
